Discover the origins of light beige limestone

The Vale da Cruz quarry is located in Prazeres de Aljubarrota, Alcobaça. Here we extract limestone known as Vidraço de Moleanos. The stone is characterized by its white or light beige colour, grains and small marine fossils represented by disperse brown marks.
