Urban redevelopment of the coastal avenue

In the urban redevelopment of the São Martinho do Porto coastal avenue in Alcobaça, Portugal, the Vale Amazona stone with flamed and sawn finishes stands out. In the project by architects Gonçalo Byrne and Falcão de Campos the stone was used in Portuguese pavements, paving slabs, kerbs and copings.
