Jardim da República — Santarém, Portugal
Requalification of the public garden with limestone in several finishes
The Creme Champagne stone with natural cleft, flamed, sawn and split face finishes predominates in the Jardim da República, Santarém, Portugal, redeveloped in 2009. The stone clads the walls and was used in the Portuguese pavements, copings, stairs, slabs, gutters, drain grates and benches. The landscape architecture society PROAP directed the project.
